TESTIMONIALS
“My husband and I cannot believe the tremendous growth and confidence that our 5-year-old son has gained in a short time working with Vicki Kelly. She approaches each session with such kindness, creativity and enthusiasm, but also challenges our son with new activities each time. Week by week, his gross and fine motor skills continue to blossom. He has truly transformed before our eyes! Within 6 months, he went from not being able to write a single letter, to writing his name and even words. He had previously been a child that was more inclined to stand back on the playground, but now is eager to climb and do the money bars because he has developed the core strength and motor planning to do so. It is evident that the occupational therapists at Capable Kids, Vicki and Sheila, have so much passion for what they do each day. Their experience, along with their love for children and their field could not be more apparent! As a pediatrician and mother of two boys, I cannot recommend this practice enough. I am so pleased with my son’s development, which has translated into the classroom setting as well. My only regret is that I did not start our son at Capable Kids sooner!”
“When my son first met Sheila he couldn’t walk into a room without crying hysterically. He would be inconsolable for the entire session. But slowly Sheila worked her magic and my son now runs to see her. To call her a miracle worker wouldn’t even do it justice. My son is where he is today thanks to her. Her hard work and dedication to my child has taken him from a boy who was on the floor banging his head and crying…to a social, hilarious, boy who is now thriving in Kindergarten. Sheila not only helped him with his OT, but she helped me navigate the system, gave me suggestions of how to approach certain things and to this day continues to give me valued advice. She is the shoulder I lean on, my sons biggest cheerleader and the most amazing therapist! I wouldn’t go any where else. Even during Covid, Sheila was our constant and helped to keep us somewhat sane.”
